Instructions

Ingredients

  1. Marinate the beef: Toss the sliced beef with cornstarch in a bowl. This helps tenderize the meat.

  2. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add garlic and cook until lightly browned. Be careful not to burn it.

  4. Add beef and stir-fry until half cooked.

  5. Add garlic powder and soy sauce, stirring to coat the beef.

  6. Cook until beef is fully cooked through.

  7. Add any desired vegetables and cook until tender-crisp.

  8. Garnish with scallions and serve with rice or noodles.

  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp chopped scallions

  • Optional vegetables: broccoli, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.

Tips

Additional Notes

  • Adjust the amount of chili flakes or black pepper to your desired spice level.

  • You can use other cuts of beef like skirt steak or chuck eye, but make sure to slice them thinly.

  • Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.

  • Cooking time may vary depending on the size and quality of the beef.
